Hiatus for anime

this is bad news for any anime and even after it gets out of it, ratings might not look good.
if an anime goes to hiatus, it's better to give up on it

Alright I'm so tired of hearing this ratings stuff. Where are you getting these "ratings" from and how do you know they go down when a show goes off the air.

they took bleach down because of low ratings.
it's based on the viewrs.
@madarauchiha can explain better

I'm still not sure about why the anime got over could be a variety of reasons. As far as the manga is concerned it's a known fact that Kubo's health started deteriorating(if you look at later chapters he stopped drawing backgrounds), and the sales of the manga started declining(which can easily be found out since it consistently ranked in the bottom during its later years, far far off from Naruto and One Piece which were still topping the charts).

I think hiatuses can be easily explained for shorter anime that got over in recent times but for older anime you need more data and it's not easily available. And it's certainly not easy to explain for something extremely long like Bleach. And I'm not even an economist or a data analyst to do that, nor am I interested.

ANN or another website will post a week's ratings from aired anime. Like any tv based show, low numbers means it had no future.

That's sad.
Some anime will be taking that place for sure and to think that it wouldn't have a future, is just sad.

that's true star
but sometimes they will be back with a bang like bleach and i am sure we will get a cool ending adaptation for bleach
