Who is your all time favourite anime hero and heroine? Doesn't matter what show just tell me who your absolute favorite hero and heroine is and why if you would like.
 
I'm going to say One Punch Man Saitima, he destroys nearly everything in one punch and still makes it worthwhile to watch.
 
I'll just call them the protagonists of the storynot heroes/heroines. Some of them are anti-heroes.
 
Male: Light Yagami from Death Note, Lelouche vi Britannia from Code Geass, Shinya Kogami from Psycho-Pass, both Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto, Luffy and Zoro from One Piece, Okabe Rintarou from Steins;Gate.

Female: Makise Kurisu from Steins;Gate, Ryuuko Mato and Satsuki from Kill la Kill, Balsa from Seirei no Moribito.
 
I don't have any favorite female protagonist and all of them are cute but I like Kuran kaname as the male protagonist and he is from vampire knight.

Well isn't that quite the list. You have given me some searching to do lol but light was cute ::)f only the series wasn't so dark sighss
