Go to the freakin' dentist!

A couple days ago, I had a minor toothache. This morning, it exploded in pain as I tried to eat some Cream of Wheat. So I scheduled an appointment, after figuring out who takes my dental insurance. Not bad, I found a place 1/2 mile away, and it's a nice day, so I can walk! (Not that I have a choice based on the weather anyway, it's always going to be the foot-mobile...)

I spend about two hours there, tons of x-rays taken, lots of consultation from three dental assistants, and a full dentist. The one tooth, will cost me over $950. Everything in my mouth, will cost over $17,000. I'm facing a wage garnishment, bankruptcy, and still have bills I can't afford. Inflation and tariffs, me of my, strawberry pie!

I'm screwed.

May be you can go to some other country to get the treatment done for a lower price! I am not kidding...

I wish I could go to another country. But I can't.
  • I don't have a passport.
  • I don't have the funds to travel.
  • I don't have the permission (it's complicated).
  • Assuming I could get to another country, I'd be really tempted to just stay there! LOL
 
That's quite a lot.
Everything is freaking expensive! The basic needs and medical help should be inexpensive.
 
Shelter should be inexpensive too! I wouldn't have to file for bankruptcy protection if rent was reasonable! Speaking of which, if you're in the USA and have Student Loans, watch out! Wage garnishments can happen now. I'm waiting to hear back from a lawyer to see if I'll be protected, because I absolutely can not afford any pay deducted from my paycheck!
