It's completely gone and they have updated the app to ios only so I can't get it again..sighss

It's a chromebook and I can't do apk cause I would have to wipe my entire system..will make do with webcomics for the time being I guess...thanks for your help :)
 
That's not good man.
You could try something like recovery point but I don't think it will bring back the apps for you
 
If you suddenly lose some apps, that's the start of your worries, the sudden shut off could be an early sign of your hdd going bad.

When I go to the site they tell me to download the app and i can't and the manga is not found anywhere else

So it's a chromebook and i kept getting a notice of this being my final software update and no more will be given. I don't know if it has anything to do with that..I checked and everything from my pc offline is gone..all my cloud stuff is still there but my locally saved stuff is completely gone sighss

what was the app called? Cause i know Manga Rock shut down so if it was mangarock then it's gone

Nah I tried mangarock but it was a waste//I lost two. one was mangawoo and the other mangatoon

hmm there's not many manga apps on the playstore, the one i know is most popular now is Tachiyomi but it's an apk but it works well

I find it hard to believe a software update wiped all your offline data, if that is the case, chromebooks are worse than I thought.

I just hope it isn't anything like hacking or something? Do you think it could be that?
I mean everything on my local storage is gone..no trace..images, docs, everything just gone

Thanks hun but I can't run apk on this pc and to do so I have to reset the entire os which I know nothing about so will make do with online manga
