Help me understand why Naruto isn't greedy

he wanted sakura only because she is the prettiest girl. he wanted to protect people only to gain their acceptance. he wanted to bring back sasuke only because he gave his word to sakura and he couldn't go back on it

I don't like Naruto either, i used to like him but his character fall hard and there is no quality to redeem himself for me

I really did hate him as a kid, though as a teen he did wise up a lot though the whole Sasuke thing was overboard greedy if you ask me.

Well i try to give balanced personal opinion even to character i dislike

I knew that you could not be talking about food wise. SInce I have known this guy he has always been obsessed with food lol
His character though is a pretty cute and selfless one from what I have seen and known. I'm not sure how much he has changed but I think that he probably just is a good hearted guy

he is still a good man and he wouldn't agree with anyone who calls him fat.

I have seen many shows with fat protagonists though..not anime but shows in general

Btw, Naruto liked sakura not only coz she was pretty but he didn't want to feel inferior to sasuke (cause he the hot guy in the class ).. Naruto was a cast aside initially.. he never had the obligation to save people yet he did.. last but not least, he could have killed sasuke if he wanted to.. but since sasuke lost his family too and cause he was also an orphan.. he knew the pain.. moreover naruto thought of him as a brother.. its not for the promise he made to sakura

So basically he was just a good guy at heart since he didn't need any particular reason for doing anything
I always liked his kind heartedness. Glad that they didn't change that about him

i thought it was naruto but we changed to choji in the middle.
i don't get why how it happened but it did. it's always for sakura. if she died in the hands of sasuke, naruto would have killed him

Fat people are really sweet people as well and they would be great protagonist if written right

usually the protagonist should move fast and fat people can't do that.
they need to lose their weight to save the day.
they might be sweet people but they can't save the day
