hellsing manga

Does anybody read hellsing manga?
Do you think the art can be drawn better humans? 
The alucard can be much for handsome and much more intimidating.
 
i've only read the first volume. It is pretty interesting.
About the Art is pretty unique. I don't know if it gets better or worse as the volumes kept coming but while Alucard could be drawn better I think a lot of the impact comes from those bizarre scenes where he just look remotely humanoid.

I remember hearing that the mangaka wasn't very experienced when he started drawing that manga, and that the art got visibly better as the manga continued. I haven't read it though, so I don't have my own opinion.
 
Hellsing seems to be really popular. One of these days I need to pick up the first one see if it's something that I'd be interested in reading. As for the artwork...I'm not qualified to judge what's worse or better. I can see why some people would say older works may not be as good as the new ones simply because that's more experience gained by the artist.
