Well most of the people I know wouldn't want to pick an anime with a low rating.
Even I don't want to pick an anime with just 5 rating in MAL.

If you rewatch an anime after a few years or so, I don't think you will give the same rating as before

It was around 2017 and 2018 that my viewing habits and tastes started getting refined in a major way and when I looked at my MAL list I had to re-evaluate a lot of scores. A few months later I stopped scoring anime because it wasn't worth it, especially since I started dropping anime a lot more frequently.
