have you ever watched random anime?

i like watching random anime sometimes when i get extremely bored of my work or current watching anime. i used to pick a random anime of a random genre and i watch it. sometimes i like it and sometimes i don't .
 
Not really, usually I look around and spend a little time to decide what I'm about invest some time into.
 
I'd rather spend 5-10 minutes to know about the popularity, rating, general consensus and the history of the anime than regret spending 2 hours watching 6 or 7 boring episodes.
 
When my list nears the end of the season and nothing is popping out, I'll pick two or four animes, throw them into a hat and see what I draw.

This. There were times where I watched something just because something in the cover photo looked cool and then I end up wasting my time.
 
everyone should try random anime. you might like many anime when you watch them. sometimes it's boring too but it's worth all that
 
I don't think I have watched anything random just like that.
Usually I read the plot and review the ratings a bit before downloading an anime, to watch.
 
I don't remember. I might have picked a few which are not to my tastes but I dropped them after watching 5 episodes.
