Have you ever liked an anime less because of people talking about it too much?

It's too overacted if you think about it and they should be discreet with their praise

people shouldn't be influenced by others and though the hype can be irritating, we can ignore it

It’s either this, or just lower your expectations. If everyone is saying something is the greatest thing since sliced bread, just drop it to “it’s pretty good” or “it’s alright”. That way you won’t be that disappointed if you didn’t like it, or maybe impressed if you ended up really enjoying it.

oh wow lol
and believe me those remarks can make you drop a series too. i tried to watch goblin slayer but after watching the worst anime videos of that series, i dropped it
