Have you ever lied when rating anime?

I wouldn't say I've lied but yeah if I theres a series I hate and I'm around someone who likes it I'll try sound more forgiving in my arguments.
As far as rating on MAL or something goes? No.
 
Lots of times and when there are too many people who wants to praise or criticize an anime, we wouldn't be able to hold onto whatever we have and it's better to go along with the flow.
 
I wouldn't lie when giving my opinion on something I watched. When people ask me what I thought about whatever, I prefer to actually tell them what I think, over giving a half baked truth or a full lie, as tastes on what people like, are subjective to the individual.
 
Personally, I really know how important rating is to some people who are making use of it to finally decide on an anime to watch, which is why I would never like with my rating of any anime.
