Have you ever despised anime or called anime fans weird before?

In contrary, I was called that once. One of my friend who likes only sci-fi movies, thinks such anime are cartoons and these are worthless. I pity him because he don't understand the emotions here.
 
Lol, I'm not an animé fan now, i fancied them alot when i was very much younger. But that won't prompt me calling the people watching often names based on the characters they're watching. That seem too pathetic enough, everyone deserves respect thou.
 
Some of them are weird, some of them act intentionally bad so it's not like sometimes I didn't go "Ugh please don't." .
The thing is every spectrum of life where fans gather, there will be a certain amount of people that make that group look silly/bad.
 
I generally try not to call people weird just because they like certain Animes', as we all have our favorites; but there are some people that go overboard on the obsession, to the point of it being creepy. Those people I consider weird.

Personally, I don't really care about what other people think about my preferences when it comes to what I choose to watch especially when it's anime related. They can say all trash that they want to say and I still won't give a damn.
