I like anime right from the start

how'd i get to be so good?
I always liked Pokemon and stuff as a kid but didn't really know any other animes... when YGO and Beyblade and such came around I actually thought it was by the same company, because the art style was the same.
As I got older I just started watching whatever my friends were into then, and I think they have pretty good taste because there's not many animes I've seen that I've outright disliked.

Nothing like that, the only long one I've ever watched was the first YGO series, but even then I think I gave up with like 15 episodes left.
I tried getting into Naruto after I heard so much about it and it was on TV once, but it was an episode right in the middle of it so I had no idea what was going on.
Most animes I've seen are 12-24 episodes, which I think is usually the optimal amount.

but for 12 episodes anime, the character development can be minimal in my opinion lol
