It's a Hindu celebration for Lord Ganesha's birthday. We celebrate for ten days by fasting and prayer and huge functions. This year though I don't think there will be any big celebrations. You can look it up on google for more info. Wouldn't want my thread banned for religious discussion :)

It's okay, i mean.. we are people from the world, it would be better if you give explaination about the celebration. I think.. it would be like knowledge for us, so it's good

It's a great festival. I haven't been able to celebrate much today. What about everyone else?

My kids did all preparations and prayers for today...i am currently an extremely proud parent lol

Idk where to get the stuff but I think ima substitute it for normal everyday ingredients...I'm still undecided lol

i would love to hear more about the ingredients too
if it's very good, i would like to give it a try making it.
