The opening is good. The middle School tournament result is predictable. Even the point that Hinata scored too.
I wonder how he was able to jump that high.
All the students in the high school team got unique personality as well.
Anyone watched these episodes here?
 
i didn't like kageyama. he is always about himself and i shouldn't say this but he got what's coming to him. everyone disliked him at the end

He just likes the sport more and he want everyone to work hard. It's not wrong and I felt bad that everyone shunned him like that. Talent should be appreciated and everyone is jealous of him

he didn't even want to play with hinata as a team. how is that helpful and even after seeing that can you tell me that ..so think he is pitiful

Watch it a bit more. You will change your opinion soon enough. Kageyama is a diamond in the rough just like Hinata. How many episodes did you watch so far?
 
Just finished episode 5. Incredible animation. And really really good and colourful art. Rroduction IG went ape-shit alright.
And while the characters are your standard Jump manga type, I like the standard Jump manga type characters, the endearing protagonist, the arrogant rival, etc.
So far, it's nothing short of amazing.

Same here. I only knew about Cricket, Tennis, Baseball and Football previously.
I'm not sure if Volleyball will be interesting if I watch an actual match but the ones in this anime are interesting for sure, even though I've only watched two, and both of them are barely actual matches.

I see. Well, anime can make almost everything look interesting, if the mangaka is good enough. I thought you have watched slam dunk. If so, then it's about basketball.

Even if the mangaka has made it interesting the anime director also has to be skilled to make it work.
I haven't watched Slam Dunk. And I mentioned Baseball in the list of sports I know, not Basketball.
I plan to watch Kuroko no Basuke first.

I see...Well, I had had some interesting conversation with respect to that anime here. I got confused and thought it was you. Personally I don't play much. My knowledge comes from anime alone.

In real life I've played only Cricket. Football, sometimes, and Tennis(or rather, Badminton), rarely.
 
i think we should make this a big list
and i am sure newbies would love to watch such cool series. maf recommended anime based on genres.
