So has anyone watched this series? I recently finished the movie after watching the first season and its OVA and it's a pretty wonderful series.

Season 2 is due out next year I believe.

The subreddit r/anime started a rewatch yesterday so if people like watching anime in a communal way they can go there. I've been wanting to watch it too, since it's apparently extremely popular in Japan.

It's most likely popular due to its large schoolgirl setting with many different types of schools/characters. For me its the actual tank battles, they are well thought out and you simply don't know how its going to turn out.

if it's just a fanservice anime, i would never watch it.
but i don't know much about it and it's title is like an anime, which focuses on fanservice first like fairy tail
