Some series suffered from this thing. Well personally i don't mind about this, i just want to point this out.
In anime male character associated with power and female characters associated with speed or intellect. Example :
- Kekkaishi : Yoshimori is ridicilously strong, and Tokine more skillful using Kekkaishi technique
- Scrapped Princess : Shannon is swordsman, meanwhile Raquel is a magician
- Patlabor : Noa have better handling at piloting Ingram, and Oda relied on raw strength
Even in Naruto we can see a little bit display of this gender specialty, when Kakashi trained his team, Naruto and Sasuke have more chakra but Sakura have better control over chakra. Same thing happened on video games but i don't want to talk about it
Well.. maybe stereotype like this is still a thing in Japan, man being stronger and woman faster. Or maybe for aesthetic reason, like.. looks Biscuit (HxH) true form, muscular woman seems less attractive than the usual lean design (at least for me)
Of course it might be because cultural reason, but i don't want to talk about it
