Yamishibai anime got some tales and some of them are creepy.
But stuff like toilet hanako is just gross.
What do you guys think of them?

Well, it's not a good anime and if anything... It's got too many perverted jokes...I wanted to drop it but the story isn't bad.....
So..I am.... Never mind
 
Are ya gonna watch it or not? xD. Sowhat if it had pervy jokes.. I mean I have seen prison school which is like the bomb of adult comedy.. To me, its the best. And the story is pretty intense in prison school far as the anime goes.. Got detoriated in the manga tho

I drop stuff if it goes above my threshold level.
There is no way I could watch lame jokes and if it disgusts me

As I said.. It's your pref. So I get it :). Your wish as to what ya wanna see.. ^ ^ and if ya dont like it, you can glady watch another..

I never cared too much about any type of folk tale to be honest, except I know there are quite a lot of them.
A simple Google search brought me here eventually:

It even has them sorted per prefecture, but I think you'd find older ones in the western half of Japan because it exists much longer than the eastern half (because Japan has conquered it much later in history).

Jeez kiddo. Those are popular tales. There are many tales that aren't popular but are known to local people.
