Female protagonists in one piece

why don't people in one piece have more screentime for female protagonists?
they are not very strong and they don't have much story and screentime
 
It's an anime aimed at boys that's probably why. Robin's power is pretty awesome but she was nerfed a lot.

i think so too
and nami doesn't have much and her climate control is very good. usopp should have made one for himself

Yeah he's pretty useless I know never liked him except when he was Sogeking and God Usopp.

He's not a gag character though he's just annoying. Both Chopper and Nami serve whatever purpose he's serving except they are not annoying.

i don't like nami
and even robin had been stooped to that level and she can even be called a gag character now

Robin is a nothing character she doesn't even have gag skits. As for Nami she was repulsive in the first few arcs but after that she's become cool.

She was conniving and backstabbing initially, she's way different now.

Backstabbing is a touchy thing. It's different from other crimes and even in literature is always viewed as a vice that's not easy to forgive.

I'm talking about backstabbing, not thieving.
