Feedback for Referral contest and posting contest

What do you guys think about this?
Lately there isn't much activity in MAF. I don't want our forum to die this way. Most of the staff members are against this idea... So let's hear what other users actually think about it.

I think people would try to bring other users who are not interested in genuine posting and this turn into a commercial posting forum

I suppose this could pose a problem but we can always monitor them and weed them out if that's the case...maybe some of them will become genuine after really getting a feel for anime/manga

Not many likes watching anime.
They believe that animation stuff is for kids and with that prejudice, they would just want the money and nothing more.

I understand that but it's possible that after learning the truth behind anime and what it really is some may change their opinions and even like it
