Fall season 2014

So, the season is almost here :cheers: Did everyone decide what you are going to watch? =) There a so many promising sequels/spin offs coming out, it is kinda surprising. Just look at the list:

Magic Kaito 1412
Mushishi Zoku Shou 2
Log Horizon 2nd Series
Gundam: G no Reconguista
Psycho-Pass 2

And I haven't seen any of the original series for those works :lost2: I guess I am not so worried about Log Horizon, but I know people who are hyped about this show like there is no tomorrow, so I had to mention it =)

So I guess for me the only ones left are KyoAni's Amagi Brilliant Park and Ghibli's Sanzoku no Musume Ronja. And maybe World Trigger and Terra Formars... I don't know >.> I might end up not watching anything, cause of the having no free time issues ^^' So what about you?

All I have been watching this month was Tokyo Ghoul, and even that is just cause we discuss it on our blog with Shaurya. Finishing thesis takes time. Hopefully after a few weeks it will change, but still, you get the idea.

Nope. There will be another season this Winter, so I rather wait and see the anime =) It is an event driven show, so I don't want to spoil it. Do you read it?

Haha yeah :D its like i knew it was coming!! but the animation is so cool!
i have a question, have you watched the "Gekijouban Kara no Kyoukai: The Garden of Sinners" movies? Is it good? and do i watch it in chronological order or release order x)

The animation does look good =) It also kinda looks like it is focusing on characters and their relations, I thought it was a more of a fighting show o.o

I've seen 4 movies. They are good, especially if you like artistic kind of movies. Music and visuals blend with very unclear plot and very random, but powerful events, all together it creates this dream like effect. A lot of times I was watching something happen and thinking "this is a metaphor or something, a dream maybe; no way it is a part of the actual story!". I think it makes sense to watch it in the release order, I think that is how the movies were designed to be watched. The prequels would not be as inserting if you don't know the characters, and you wouldn't care about what is going on quite as much. Also first movie would not be as weird, and I'd say that is a loss when we speak about Garden of sinners =)

Awesome ill go release order :) yeah it does strike as a very deep anime trying to teach lessons hehe ill be watching this then. not too many new things peaking my curiosity x(

Last season was quite packed, it's okay for this one to be a breather :P Did you look at some of the summer anime? Terror in Resonance, Aldnoah Zero, Tokyo Ghoul, Barakamon, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun etc., a lot of very different good shows.

ah i never thought of looking at the old seasons stuff that i didn't watch x) probably a good idea. But im enjoying this show for now....just finished the first ep/movie.....think im done for the day x) but its a nice change in pace from all the fighting and stuff. It got all philosophical up in my brain haha feels almost as if you take different messages from it depending on your life experiences.

Yeah, I don't usually look at past seasons too; but some shows just wouldn't let you forget about them, thankfully those are usually good ones =) Like people still talk about SAO a lot, even though I can hardly remember which season it was : D

The first episode of Garden of sinners is about suicide, if I remember right. I'd say it is more heavy on ideas and thinking than the next few of them. It's nice to see an anime that makes you think a bit about what you've just seen, isn't it =)
