Do you think it works?
I have come across this debate today and I thought of posting it here as well.
What do you guys think?

But just a 20 minute exercise wouldn't help the body to be active. It also depends on the time. That's just my opinion.
It wouldn't work in your situation, especially if you're trying to lose weight. Running and jumping for 40 mins a day isn't going to cut down on your weight, you gotta do a lot more than that, on top of dieting.Blackangel said:this i can't agree
i have been doing a few exercises like running at full speed and jumping for at least 40 minutes and i never lost any weight or i am still the fat woman in the neighborhood.
i can't restrict to dietingGrungie said:It wouldn't work in your situation, especially if you're trying to lose weight. Running and jumping for 40 mins a day isn't going to cut down on your weight, you gotta do a lot more than that, on top of dieting.
Working out isn't a one size fits all, and just running isn't gonna help outside of just increasing how fast you can run, or your running stamina.
It's all mental on the food portion, but you can do research on good workout routines you can do at home that can cut down on your midsection. Jumping is basically useless, and running alone isn't going to cut it. Something like pairing bicycle kicks and sit ups will do a lot more for your stomach than just running.Blackangel said:i can't restrict to dieting
and i have tried but i am weak to food and i end up eating a lot. i really thought running would make my muscles get the work out and jumping would make my whole body move, and that would make a difference but i am so stupid.

Different workouts work on different parts of your body. Like just lifting weights is going to make your arms look awesome, but if you don't work out your shoulders and stomach, you're just gonna look like Spongebob with inflatable arms.

and i get exhausted a lot when i try lifting weights. i was close to hyperventilating before and i got scared of regular workouts.
To be fair, the 20 min workouts cater more towards maintaining as opposed to making gains.Star_Of_Hope said:I see.
I have never given it much thought...so I am not aware of all the workouts available
