Exciting space anime

I watched freedom anime and I really liked it. Except for the romance part, it's fairly good. I am watching cowboy Bebop and it's okay too.
Are there any other exciting space anime out there?
If so, please give me the names of such interesting anime

I mean.... You wouldn't recommend something you haven't watched right?

I do actually... I mean if it's well known anime I do recommend even when i havent seen it.

Glad you liked Freedom, its one of my favorites =)

I would normally suggests something like Macross movie, but it is mostly romance, so probably not your cup of tea. Legend of the Galactic heroes is a classic and I want to go back to watch it, but I can't really recommend it yet, having seen only 3 or 4 episodes. Aldnoah is a good recommendation, but it is more of a mecha and military anime, not a space one, at least that is my impression.

I liked freedom ...and that animation reminded me of Ajin, god eater and other quality anime. I will take a look at Aldnoah. It looks interesting.
