Drawing dark skin in manga

is it difficult to draw dark skin in manga? i don't think it would be easy but if there are any tricks, then it could be easy. have anyone tried drawing dark skin?
 
I don't want to talk about BL manga but in general drawing dark skin can be more work.
They have to use a few more pencil strokes to get the coloring right.

the entire body of a character would be hard to draw. is that why we don't have many dark skinned characters in manga? i never thought of it like that. may be it's not a country thing
