One is signature move of Hiei and one is signature move of the Uchiha's, both are fire elemental, but which one is deadlier according to you?
 
Amaterasu probably.
They wouldn't leave anything behind and they wouldn't be engulfed unless they devour their target.

Well in the anime the dragon wave can easily evaporate demon's body, in the OVA Hiei can make 7 waves of fire dragon slayer (or 9 i'm not remember well) so i think it's kinda equal in power

That's because Itachi, the prodigy would be using it. There is no way anything else can stand on it's way.
 
I would say Amaterasu since it takes nothing major to invoke it so you can start burning someone before they know it.

Uh...well,....if it's a really weak uchiha like the people, who used to fight with Itachi for nothing, then they would lose xD
If it's Madara or shisui or some other uchiha, then they would win.
