Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon similarity

Both series have similarity. Popularity makes them go on and go on with the story. Dragon Ball supposed to end when Goku beat Freeza in Namec, Sailor Moon is the same, they supposed to end in only one arc, yup just one arc far shorter than Dragon Ball

But good reception from consumer forced them to continue the series, well.. we all know the rest of those series continuation
 
It happens in every series man.
Bleach should have ended too, but the people would want the anime, to go on for a little while longer.

Really.. popularity can change things. Sometimes it's better, sometimes it worse
