Does subscribng gives alerts?

i never knew this. i am getting alerts whenever risk replied to some threads and they are not even made by me. can someone please tell me how to unsubscribe?

thanks for moving it. i am getting subscribed without me doing it. i got confused and as there are many other issues, i would like this to get the attention.

I have 26 alerts now. I would rather see that quick reply box gone. I really don't like seeing these many alerts which are not meant for me. Can you do something for it?
