what about you all prefer actually? have you thought dubbed is good?
I've mentioned before. It depends what it is. Pokemon and Dragon Ball is better dubbed

Some dubs have either better or more “appropriate” sounding actors than the Japanese cast. Or there are some shows that have too much “Engrish” terminology, so I figured I might as well watch it in English.

Also, knowing the language makes it easier to be even more critical of things like cheesy, or over acting.

i didn't know about cheesy lol
and that reminds me how you thought of nasal voices from before. that makes some sense.

The nasal part is in more of the singing, that’s not a language thing. There’s certain techniques I hear in VA singers that sound very amateurish, despite the recording budget. Especially in shows like Love Live.

That's not nasal, that's just them speaking high pitched on purpose. Some of the female VA's in interviews do a higher pitched voice on purpose, and it sounds too artificial. It's like I know that's not what you ACTUALLY sound like.
