Do you wish Anime stayed small in the west and didn't go mainstream?

Do you guys wish for this?
As for me, it's good that anime is very popular now. What about you guys? Do you have the same view as me?
 
I like it being more mainstream. Makes it easier to find people to talk to in real life, as opposed to dealing with just neckbeards who spend more time whining about being a weab than just talking about anime.

I just wanna discuss my favorite shows, not whine about someone following the “wrong” fan sub group because they don’t use your preferred font for the subtitles.

people can be very complex
and i never imagined anime would be this popular even like 15 years back. does anyone in your family watch anime, grungie?

Both of my siblings watch anime
 
I don't wish for that.
Only mainstream can get the limelight and it should be there for anime.
 
Trust me, anime would have hurt a lot if it didn't, wouldn't have gotten such series like Avatar, another season of Big O, IGPX and others.
 
I would never wish for that man.
Everything deserves the popularity and thinking otherwise is not good.

popularity isn't everything and it will change over time and everything is faded later.

Well.. anyway, it could be interesting if they become mainstream, imagine.. they could produce their anime-style animation, it could be good to watch something different

I'm not really familiar with animes history but I am happy that we have been able to experience anime all around the world
