Do you watch anime in secret?

I think I have gone through that phase. And thanks to the Netflix in the mobile. I prefer that method for the content watching. It works out that way for me. I don't get into peoples notice that way because my mobile time is personal and I can watch what I want.

that's right
but sometimes we don't have to be ashamed of ourselves to do it like this

Well.. all of my friends know i like anime and manga. To watch them.. i always watch at home, this is where i'm very picky, i need certain conditioning to enjoy my hobby, i like to enjoy it in quiet and comfortable enviroment like in my room or something. I just can't like other people who can watch movie while standing up on train using headphones. So yes, you could say i watch on secret haha..

that's a cool thing
we don't have to say anything to anyone, if we don't like to say anything outloud.

No.

Anime is longer an embarrassing interest that's reserved for basement dwellers and hipster nerds. Even the non-Japanese mainstream media constantly takes inspirations from Japanese artstyle everyday, so you could clearly see it's not something I need to keep secret about.

Well.. time has changing Haha.. but some older people still think anime is for kids. I can't blame them, they know nothing about anime

Yeah, I know the feeling. But as I get older, I could understand more and more why adults would frown upon some of the things kids enjoy, like Fortnite, dabbing, Tik-Tok, Instagram. It's that feeling of unfamiliarity and the difficulty in accepting change, in accepting an entirely different kind of worldview.

that is a usual thing
if we like animations despite of the story, they think we are behaving immature.
