Do you usually have expectations for antagonists in anime?

I usually don't think about them, all that much.
However, I would like them to redeem themselves at the end and live a good life after that. What about you?

they are antagonists for a reason and i don't think people would easily change

I don't and if they change to redeem themselves then it would be an unexpected pleasant surprise.
