Do you think people should be forgiven if they apologize?

i think that's not how it should work. even if it's god,i don't think anything can be forgiven.
like if it's murder, @rson, k1lling in the name of justice should not be ok and should not be forgiven
if it's self defence then it is different but if it's intentional they should rot in he11 for eternity.
do you all agree?

A genuine apology is definitely a solid first step, but it’s just that: a step. If someone owns their mistake and actively works to fix the damage, I can usually move on. But too often, apologies are just empty words with no remorse or accountability behind them.

And yeah, context matters. There's a huge difference between someone messing up in a personal disagreement versus someone doing something reckless and dangerous, like driving drunk through a crowded park and brushing it off with a “my bad.” In cases like that, an apology alone doesn’t cut it. Actions have consequences, and forgiveness shouldn’t be automatic.

I think you have a point and it depends on whether it's intentional or not. If it's intentional nothing could make a dead person forgive the murderer

I suppose it depends on what exactly they did. If they harmed another living creature on purpose and try to apologize, I wouldn't forgive them. You can't harm another living soul and just say "oops sorry didn't know I was hurting them!" because you know they're not sincere.
