Do you think it is fair to compare two anime?

To be honest, I don't really think it's fair.
Some anime are limited to a particular world but some anime have galactic adventures and such...so....

As long as them are in the same genre why not? And we can compared then on the basic aspect like story theme, story telling, perspective, story development, cast of characters, characters development, ending

Interesting but not exactly.
I believe comparing Luffy and Goku in terms of strength isn't fair.

It is yes, when something is offering stuff similar to anime you've seen before, comparisons do arise and it also begs the question whether the anime itself is worth your time. Plus it's pretty fun as well to make the comparisons. Death Note and Code Geass have been compared for the longest time and one of the biggest reasons for that is they came around the same time.

You already talked about it above I know. It's the kind of comparisons idiots make and I pay no heed to it. The biggest idiots of them all being those who compare Saitama with others.

Lol I agree.
It's just that, many people don't see it that way and it's kinda annoying I suppose

Fair or not people compare man.
That's how these things work. Usually the same genre anime gets compared

sometime it is, as there are some anime out there that are extremely similar to each other.
That's alright.
But comparing two different anime which are not similar..... It's just not fair.

How is comparing two anime fair or unfair? It's just human tendency. Also don't repeat that stupid "Goku vs Luffy" thing again. Literally nobody here does that.

It's just for fun there's nothing unfair about it. Peeps are discussing possibilities, power structures, etc. I don't think there's any critical analysis in this.

Oh really? What if someone keeps on pestering you about admitting that Goku is like.... god?
No one can ever be able to complete with him.... Will you be good with that comparison?

No one has really done that to me though. I for one don't care about stuff like that.

That's good though.
I don't really like explaining stuff in general

Just ignore them man.
You don't have to worry about them too much. It's like a common occurrence everywhere
