Do you think introducing too many characters in an anime makes it boring?

I believe that is the case.
Especially if the introduction is done in the very first episode. What do you guys think?

I think periodically introducing characters is fine. All mainstream shonen anime have a huge cast of characters and they usually do it pretty well.

I do agree with that.
If they introduce all of them at once, we will never be able to understand who is who

that's good star
and i would be very confused with this and i wouldn't know what to say and who is what

I thought you have good memory, angel
Don't you remember the anime names and novel names a lot? How is it different from character names?

It's a bad tactic man.
We can never be able to understand who is who if everyone is introduced at once.

Not boring, but more like disappointing, I think Oda is the only one to ever introduce so many characters and keep somewhat of a balance going.

he had done a pretty good job in introducing those characters too.

Lol what series introduced bunch of character in first episode?
I'm okay with series with lot of characters, it could be fun and provide variety

i don't remember any such anime which got such poor execution
@blackrose

I forgot to mention Mayoiga introduced 30 characters in the first 2 episodes and it was a disaster of an anime.

I agree with madara. It's good to add character gradually rather than all at the same time. It's more interesting and gives you time to get to know the character
