I don't think it is all too great for the anime community. Anime is really edging towards mainstream in a lot of the world, but now I see a lot of social media that has user content probably not winning over families

lol true. but it all depends on the genre and how the anime target audience is actually like in real life. if they are all a$$holes you get these discussions a lot lol
