Do you think anime characters are as real as they get?

they don't have a hidden side and what you read/watch is what you get lol.
but the other live action actors have their own life and personality. so what do you think?

Even if the voice actor changes the core of the anime character doesn't change, unless the mangaka wants to

I've seen some characters reflect real personalities pretty well, so it's not impossible.

With a good storyboard writer and a good artist it's possible for anime characters to grow it just doesn't happen often. Mainly because the fans don't want them to change.
