Do you still accept flaws within your favorite anime?

Yes, there's no flawless anime, it's just that some shows have more glaring flaws than others.

Also I swear FMA is like a meme at this point with the MAL community.

Not to mention they pretty much mass vote every anime that comes close to its score a 0, even though it's like a rare anime that's at the top with both number of users and user score.

Yeah, there was a music forum that I'm still on, but back in the day they were a little too obsessed with the band Dream Theater. The mods would issue warnings or just ban anyone that would say anything negative about them. So the joke behind the scenes was that the forum had to be sponsored by the band or something.

To this day I couldn't tell if they were doing it as kind of a joke, or were dead serious.

Wouldn't put it past them being dead serious. Tribalism is still ubiquitous on my Twitter feed, be it for Consoles, the dumb Steam vs epic thing or shonen anime.

Tbh that’s almost the whole point of Twitter now. That’s kind of why I only follow music artists and mangaka’s, anything else is just annoying.

You’re only saying that because MAL loves the show a bit too much. Also what I’m talking about with it being a meme, is that it’s pretty well known, even on MAL, that they purposefully downvote anything that beats FMAB on its number 1 slot.
