Do you prefer XML?

I love programming

So, if you are a programmer,I would like to ask  you a question. Do you prefer XML?
I am not talking about the popularity.I am talking about the way we use XML.

It doesn't have any predefined functions and  keywords.
But we can have our own tags.So do you prefer XML?

I like XML but I find sometimes it can be hard to seek out what you might want to edit.

In my line of work I don't really need it, so I don't think I'll be lerning it =) It is just one of the things I'm curious about.

I just love XML in terms of blogger coding... Usually blogging templates or blogger itself uses XML for its source code. It's an upgrade or an addition to html code.
