Do you prefer swords or guns?

What are your thoughts on animes with swords vs animes with guns?

I like both for different situations but probably lean towards swords, they can both be really awesome though.

One of my favorite kid shows is G.I. Joe Rise of the Cobra (idk if thats considered anime) and Snake Eyes uses guns and swords.... HE IS AWESOME

It really depends on how it is executed. Some anime with guns I find really lame, but the same goes for some with swords. In general I prefer swords because it takes more mastery in the art of it and gets mixed in with some pretty cool martial arts. Meanwhile a five year old can pick up a gun and go pew pew. Sure, the recoil will suck balls, but they can still do it. While getting a child to do anything accurate with a sword would be quite the feat.

I'm presently watching Black Lagoon, which the guns in that show are pretty cool. Prior to that I watched Kill la Kill which had some awesome sword play.
 
I would prefer swords, since swords will give us more thrills. Also, for a gun fight scene, it will be less than a second. While for a swords fight scene, it could be more than five seconds.
 
I generally prefer swords and other medieval weapons, but wouldn't turn down an anime with guns and heavy machinery. As long as the weapons fit the setting, I'm not complaining.

i think guns are powerful but in samurai anime it's the opposite. i don't know how the fuck a samurai with a swrd can beat a gun handling cop but who the hell knows.
 
Swords can be cool for an anime character
If I am an anime character, I would go for swords, but guns are efficient

Only because it's not complex and it doesn't need skill to use a gun
Swords can be scary too

I wouldn't want one and I would rather believe no one around me got no guns.
