Do you like threatening and macho characters in anime?

I usually don't like them much
They don't look too cool to me. I am sure there are many characters who resembles bears in anime.

i am sure there are characters who are like that for comedy purpose but they are not pleasant lol

Skin Bolic (D.Grayman), Aldebaran (Saint Seiya), Uvogin (HxH) all macho and intimidating but they are among the first ones to die lol

and i don't think he died and he is just for comic relief and nothing more lol

and judging by the looks, hisoke from hunter x hunter looks funny but he is not lol
 
I wouldn't usually find macho types too threatening, but I do like when it's done in a comedic way and everything about the character is SUPER MANLY, a character with outrageously exaggerated muscles for example.

and i can imagine it very well as well. but i don't think we have many characters like that lol
