Do you like comedy anime a lot more than action anime?

Many people like action anime and not many people like comedy anime.
Why is that? Because of popularity, of action anime in general?

comedy is great and you can have a few laughs and action isn't like that at all

If an anime is good, I would like it regardless of the genre.

I still like action, a lot. MHA is perhaps not the best example but stuff like Samurai Champloo.

I really like it too and I am more into action anime.

Every season is very good so far. I've also been watching Haikyuu 4 and Chihayafuru 3.

i don't mind action but not the overly intense kinds...I would prefer comedy though...I like laughter more then death and such. Although it could be said that most action do have comedic parts to them

and i think comedy is like the heart of any anime but i don't think only comedy will be very interesting.

Action for me. I rarely find the appeal of comedy, and.. it's bit hard to find pure comedy genre (for me) usually they are sub-genre for other genres
