Do you get into the story

When looking over manga, do you find yourself immersed in the story line as if you're the one in the story? Have you ever made a connection in your real life to what you're reading in manga? Are there certain types of scenes you prefer over others, maybe fight scenes?
 
I like scenes which are filled with good dialogues..............I do like fight scenes, but I like scenes with intelligent dialogues more.............Well, the only manga which I felt like immersing myself into was Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on titan.............
 
I get into the story when I read novels, I feel like I've become part of it. It has never happened when I read manga though.
I like scenes where people get forced to face reality. It is interesting to read, wondering how the character is going to react now that his/her dream world is destroyed =)
 
I never really immerse myself in the story that much, not as if I'm the one in the story,
but I do like reading them though.
 
I find it pretty hard for me to get immersed into One Piece's story after reading 300 chapters. Don't know why, really. :\
 
There are mangas that just suck you up in their world and crush your dreams if there is no new chapter out xD . Its not unusual to connect a manga story with ones life story as most of the time you can feel a similarity between the story and the things you went through (I mean its slice of life after all its based on life xD ) .
 
There are times when I can relate to some manga or some scenes but while reading manga I mostly assume myself as a bystander :what: Just realized that.
