Do you get into the characters?

When you follow One Piece Anime, do you find you get into any of the characters like you are in the story? If so, how does that strengthen your connection to the story line? Do you relate that characters personality to your own?

I have not found myself attaching to anyone in particular yet. I have a unique personality that I have not seen represented in any of the current characters. I hope I can connect to one on a closer level someday though.
 
Well, I like a few characters.........But, as far as you question is concerned, the answer is "no"...........
 
For animes, not really. There are shows like Revenge and various others I can get into character on.
 
Not for One Piece in particular, but I used to get into the characters when I was younger and watched Dragonball Z. I would always get hyper after watching their fighting episodes. I would go outside and punch trees, pretending to train like Goku and Vegeta.
