Do you forget the names of anime characters during a show?

It happens a lot to me.
Lately though, I have been keeping track of the characters. What about you?

I don't usually forget their names.
But it does happen to me, and after a while, I will forget about them entirely.

Sometimes when their first appear or when lot of characters introduced at same time like in Naruto and BNHA

I remember main characters, but when it comes to really insignificant side characters, I have a hard time remembering them.

Constantly. I mean, I can keep track of a cast of like 3-5 main characters, but much bigger than that and I'll forget the names. It does of course also have to do with how much screen time characters get.

Same, unless their name is simple or really stands out, I'll often have to think who they are.
