Do you ever read the summary of an anime even after it's been recommended to you?

I don't usually read summaries for such an anime.
What about you guys? Do you usually do any research?

This is the first thing I read. Watching a whole anime series, is really time taking. I don't have enough time to watch a crap, so I First find out the synopsis.
