What are your thoughts about this?
Do you believe we need more science fiction anime? I believe that's true on some level

You must have little to no knowledge of science fiction anime if you think there isn’t a lot of them. It’s friggen massive.

That doesn’t change the answer, there’s a gazillion of those too.

lol space like what they show in level e anime, is nowhere realistic lol
and aliens aren't part of what we know now to be realistic enough which is required for a science fiction. but that's my personal opinion

fiction part of science fiction

i do lol
and i am sure people love love the fiction part more. but clarie and star likes space more as they always make posts of space. and that means they want science more lol

That doesn’t answer her question. To me it comes off like every other genre thread she makes where she only watches battle anime and is oblivious to most other genres. “I’ve never seen this kind of anime before” and someone will name drop a super famous one and her answer is always “wow I’ve never heard of this before”.

lol at least she ain't talking like me, clashing all the time.
and lately she is not even replying to any of her threads, which is sad lol

I've told her before that it doesn't  look good when she makes all these threads complaining about a lack of representation of genres that definitely aren't in short supply, but like 2 days later she went back to it, like nothing I said meant anything.

Like one thread was her complaining about the lack of swords in anime, and its like, what hole do you live in?
[/quote]

lol just how many swords do you see lol?
now it's all about guns in anime lol. may be we here are not knowledgeable as you, g

There’s a samurai genre with shows like Rouroni Kenshin and Samurai Champloo, and Isekais also have swords, and the regular medieval fantasy shows, and then there’s Fate and Demon Slayer. Clara’s “favorite” anime Gintama also has swords.

This is the thing I’m talking about. You’re hiding behind your ignorance and saying it’s okay, and I’m telling you it makes you look like a fool.

lol what's the recent sword anime you watched?
and samurai champloo and gintama are old too, no matter if gintama is still ongoing or not. and i am not defending them, just so you know lol

The Shaman King reboot is out, but if you wanna get petty, the second season of How Not to Summon a Demon Lord is out now and has swords. I personally don’t watch a lot of the high fantasy stuff, but I know there’s plenty of them with swords.

Just because YOU don’t watch it doesn’t mean this doesn’t exist. People on here bring up really popular shows you’re completely oblivious to, and you try to pass it off like we’re some weird hipsters bringing up some super obscure stuff up all because you’ve never heard of it.
