Did anything featured in Anime make you think Anime was a mistake?

for me nothing like that so far lol.
i take anime as a story but i don't dwell in deeper thoughts unlike many other people i know. so what about you lot?

Sometimes anime explores the darkest parts of the humanity which makes me rethink about anime genres mostly. I never felt that picking up anime hobby as a mistake

and anime used to be even more wild back in the day but i think these days it's been mellowed out. if you know what i mean.

There aren't many anime with content that breaks the society norms of today
