Decrease in new members

I don't see anyone new joining at all and others barely post except a handful. If you don't start advertising soon, this forum will die eventually and no one would return to it
 
Yeah this is the part that kills 90% of forums, getting new blood. Sure you can advertise and get your name out as much as you like, but it doesn't mean people will join.

Always make the forum look good or get something good going before getting word out.

They are all trying so much and posting to meet the 700 posts a week goal. They are not examining this user post count getting decreased and the delete zero post accounts. I don't get them anymore.
 
it's always been a concern. not counting forum games posts and deleting spam accounts and zero post accounts, it's all not good. i don't know if ever get good members this way.
@MadaraUchiha @star_of_hope do you have any plans to advertise and get new members?

I'll say this outright, i do not know what they use to advertise, but they gave up on posting on facebook for whatever reason, so keep in mind we're not getting members through facebook. I don't think we advertise unless it's us asking friends or family

what happened? if they advertised in fb before, why did they suddenly drop and who took the decision? we barely get any members now and it's sometimes we lose the original members by account deletion

That's quite a sad story now. I thought we were improving and trying to get more members by showing off how active we are. If that's not the case, then I don't see the point anymore.

we're improving yes and people do see the site just not as much s they would if we advertised on facebook, twitter etc. We do have a facebook page that used to auto post each new thread but it's no longer active so not sure.

I just didn't want ot hide that information from you two @"SecretWish" @"KuranKaname"

If we start including Forum games etc we won't have posts related to anime. Forum Games section is a perfect beehive for spamming. The main concern is that if we look at the latest posts column in the home page it should have threads that are good.

I've learned its not too great to get members from Facebook, people just tend to stick to that platform and not move from it.

This is what I was about to say. It's always like that and facebook is addicting. People wouldn't want to move onto another platform to interact.

I never knew of this auto-post and I don't think I have the link to facebook. Thanks and now I would get a link to it from others, if they have.
