Death Penalty

Here in my country (Colombia) we don't have death penalty, the last execution was over a century ago (1910), we don't need it to punish people that commit murder, mostly because we believe people can change.......................also, what they do in prison with that kind of people, they wish the death penalty still was a thing here, jails in here (unless you are a politician or have a looooot of money) is the worst thing that can happen to any human being, so i guess they pay with something worst than death XD

Wooow.. that was long time ago. Really? Is prison that bad? Maybe there's also bullying between the prisoners hehe.. i've heard something like that too

I don't have any opinion on this. We shouldn't be responsible for others lives and we should stop psychopaths . Locking them up or giving death penalty might be the same thing

I see.. then it's better to concentrate to prevent murder than punishing murderer?

You probably wouldn't need much convincing after spending a few days in there. People go crazy even after a few days, plus I'm pretty sure you can suffer permanent brain damage from being in isolation for to long.
i don't think it's possible.
there are many strong people who go into solitary willingly.

Considering we live in an age were people are practically addicted to their phone and have an attention span so short you can barely make to the end of a 5 second meme video with out skipping ahead I'd be surprised if the average person could even enter a doctors waiting room with out pulling their phone out before they're even done talking to the receptionist even the strongest people wouldn't last long.

i can imagine that
i am addicted to my phone too. i didn't think of it before but i would probably go insane but i don't think i would be strong enough to choose death. people like that, don't get peaceful death and i don't like to be tortured to death
