Just finished looking at the first episode of Death Note. Interesting but seriously dark. I thought that Light was going to be a good guy that just wanted to set things right but he also wants to be famous for it. It's ok but I don't think I will look at anymore episodes, death isn't really my thing
 
A lot of popular and critcally acclaimed anime have some amount of death and darkness to them but if you want something a little bit more light in tone watch the films of Hayao Miyazaki. He's the most celebrated director in Japan.
But I insist that you finish the series because it's probably the best cat-and-mouse game ever put to TV(or film).
 
Yeah if death bothers you then you shouldn't watch this series, which is a shame because its really good and suspenseful.
 
It doesn't really bother me that much, I just find that the story is pointless. I know that it might be your favourite anime but it just doesn't appeal to me. Sorry
 
if you are not into dark, then you should stop watching it further but it's the best anime that anime has to offer. it's always at the top and nothing ever made it to the top like that.

Hmmmm makes you wonder doesn't it, people are drawn to dark stuff, i will never know why lol

i like love stories mostly and my preferred genre is yaoi and shonen ai and i don't want to get those stories too dark like killing and stalking

Hey we could agree on some stuff then, I like love stories but not really into the yaoi and shonen ai stuff
 
Death note is one of the most entertaining animes that I have watched. I was not a great anime fan untill my best friend recommended me this. 

What dis the trick was that it was short episodes and each season of it did not feature too many episodes. 

It helped me pass my time during boring hours in med school. I dont get enough time to watch animes now, but it is one of those animes I loved during those times. 

What do you think about death note? Do you like it?
