My gf likes anime. That being said, I don't think it would be an issue to be with anyone who doesn't.

My wife watches some series with me like Inuyasha but is not hardcore about it like I am. My GF however is a total fan girl so my wife just rolls her eyes at us when we go into otaku mode as she called it. But then we do the same thing when she talks about football or wrestling.

I don't care too much if they do not want to watch Anime in general. Though honestly, I can't see myself having a significant other, that doesn't watch anime, even if it is just one or two episodes every now and then.
